Brad Burns is a singer/songwriter, who at the age of 50, is "waiting to be discovered." He grew up in a family that was only somewhat musical. His dad was taught a few guitar chords while stationed in Alaska towards the end of WWII, then, after the war, while stationed at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, he met and married Brad's mother after a six-week courtship. Brad's mom could sing and could harmonize with anything that made a musical sound, so for the next 48 years, up until her passing in 1994, Brad's mom and dad would strum and sing every chance they got, all the while raising six kids.
When Brad was 12, he pestered his father until he got his old Stella out and taught Brad those six chords he had learned up in Alaska. That is the extent of Brad's musical training. He wrote his first song at the age of 17.
Brad wrote "Hi Honey I'm Home" for his wife. You can feel the love in the song.
